Mike joined Climate Consulting to continue building on his success of strategic planning and operation management in the energy sector. His most notable achievements include directing the implementation of electrical and gas installation to new build and refurbished properties for Social Landlords and Construction Companies. In addition, Mike has managed the installation of a number of low carbon and renewable energy projects including Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP), Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Combined Heat &Power (CHP) plants.

Chinasa Uyanna

Head of Sales

Chinasa Uyanna joined Climate Consulting in May 2011, as our Head of Sales, with the remit to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders outside of our current endeavours. Chinasa brings to the business an extensive experience in Sales, and People Management, while working in the areas of supplying services to organisations whose outputs are usually in the realms of Construction, Built Environments and Consultancy Services. His experiences cover setting up new departments, managing existing operations and establishing small niche businesses fit to operate in their market environment. Chinasa is qualified to Degree level in Mechanical Engineering (Hons), and has a developing interest at Postgraduate level in Management Studies'.

Raphaela Kennedy

Marketing & Business Development Manager

Leading marketing projects for Climate Consulting, Raphaela has over ten years professional services marketing experience working across industry sectors with a strong business to business background. Her successes have been paramount in terms of translating business needs, understanding client specifications and designing bespoke targeted campaigns, which deliver and in many cases exceed predicted results. Building profile, digital marketing and internal communications are notable areas of competence. Embedding these into bespoke client campaigns improve engagement and influence behaviour change. Raphaela is an active full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and participates in their two special interest groups – Construction and Social Marketing.

Tom Vosper

Tom Vosper
Division Lead – Energy, Renewables and Low Carbon Solutions

Tom joined Climate Consulting in 2004 after completing his Physics Masters degree which focused on solar photovoltaic technology and market development. As the public sector division lead Tom oversees three teams of consultants covering areas of sustainable planning and policy, sustainable transport and energy efficiency and renewable retrofit projects.

Tom's particular expertise is in the development and delivery of affordable low carbon technology solutions for local authorities, educational institutions and housing providers. Tom enjoys undertaking technical and financial appraisals to help our clients find the best solutions, and then assisting in the delivery of these projects. Tom has years of hands on experience covering most types energy efficiency and renewable technologies including solar, wind, heat pumps and biomass.

Sarah McCusker

Sarah McCusker
Principal Consultant – Corporate Sustainability & Research

Sarah oversees the project management, development and delivery of corporate consultancy, research projects and grant funded programmes. Sarah has experience delivering sustainability strategy support to clients focusing on legislation compliance, resource efficiency auditing, carbon foot-printing, environmental management systems, sustainability reporting and employee engagement, behaviour change and training. Sarah also develops and project manages EU and government funded sustainability initiatives working with diverse partners and industry stakeholders to drive environment, social and economic improvement in small and medium sized organisations.

Jonathan Galton

Jonathan Galton
Principal Consultant – Planning & Policy

Jonathan oversees a team of consultants providing environmental support to the planning and policy departments of local authorities. Since joining Climate Consulting in mid-2007 he has developed and delivered a variety of services, including the unique in-house support contracts that we are currently providing to five local planning authorities in the London and the East of England.

Jonathan has a particular expertise in sustainability policy and has provided valued advice to policy-makers across the UK on the most effective way of securing high sustainability standards on new buildings through robust policies. This has included a number of focused “evidence based” studies to inform policies on energy efficiency and renewable energy. He has also developed Climate Change Strategies for a number of Local Authorities, taking an overarching view of the authorities’ services and operations and how these can be aligned with climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Cath McNab

Cath McNab
Principal Consultant - Sustainable Built Environment

Catherine heads up the Sustainable Built Environment team, delivering consultancy to housing providers. Having worked in the sector for 10 years Catherine has extensive experience in developing services which enable organisations to meet and exceed regulatory and policy drivers.

Catherine has detailed technical knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of renewable technologies and has developed analytical performance models for different technologies and building envelope improvements. She has developed carbon strategies at a stock-wide level, down to individual units, and has recently led her team in delivering three highly innovative, Technology Strategy Board funded, refurbishment projects which reduced dwelling carbon emissions by 80%.

Prior to working within the Built Environment team Catherine undertook energy audits of SMEs for the carbon trust and modelled, sized and specified small scale CHP’s for Climate Consulting.

Peter Chisnall

Peter Chisnall
Partnership Development Manager

Peter has worked for Climate Energy since 2008 following 19 years in Local Government as an Environmental Health Officer, Engineering Manager and Head of Waste Management. During this time he was awarded the tile of HECA Officer of the Year for Eastern England in 2004, primarily for his role in developing the first Council Tax cashback reward for householders installing Cavity Wall Insulation.

At Climate Energy Peter took on the role as Manager of the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Contract. From 2010 he has worked as a consultant to Local Authorities and Housing Providers on energy efficiency and more latterly on designing of Passive Houses.

Peter has a Professional Trainer’s Certificate from the CIEH and is a Registered Trainer with the CIEH and CIWM for the Environmental Principals and Best Practice Course and the Waste Awareness Certificate respectively.
